Cambridgeshire- Solving The Murder of Sally McGrath

On July the 11th 1979, 22 year old Sally Ann McGrath went missing from Peterborough city centre at around 2:45 in the afternoon. Initially police assumed her a runaway but 8 months later her body was found partially buried in a shallow grave in Castor Hanglands Nature Reserve, just a few miles away from where she was last seen. For the next 30 years Sally’s murder remained unsolved. That was until Cambridgeshire Major Crimes Unit picked up the case and new evidence began to come to light…
